This time we will be reading Aryn Conrad’s paper “Squids, Sharks, and Beavers in Cave: How to Solve the Cui Bono Problem with the Right Account of Inheritance” (draft) and Frederic Bouchard’s “Symbiosis, Lateral Gene Transfer and the (Many) Saplings of Life.”
